Senior UX Designer · Product Design mindset · AI-assisted workflows

I design clarity for complex products.

I'm Stephanie Cacheo, a Senior UX Designer with 10+ years of experience turning complex business needs into clear, scalable digital experiences. My strongest value is in UX strategy, information architecture, research, validation, and helping teams make better product decisions.

UX depth. Product thinking. Better decisions.

I'm not a UI-first designer. My strength is understanding the problem before jumping into screens: mapping flows, clarifying information architecture, aligning stakeholders, validating decisions, and turning ambiguity into product direction.

I use AI as a thinking partner: it speeds up benchmarking, synthesis, user story analysis, content exploration, and visual ideation. The final call is still mine, based on UX criteria, business context, product constraints, and what stakeholders tell me.

01

UX Strategy

I go deep into context, user needs, pain points, flows, and information architecture before defining the solution.

02

Product Alignment

I connect user needs with business goals, technical constraints, and delivery priorities so teams can move with more clarity.

03

AI-assisted UX

I use tools like Claude, Gemini, Figma Make, and Stitch to accelerate exploration, synthesis, and storytelling without replacing design judgment.

How I move from ambiguity to product clarity

My process follows the Double Diamond, but I adapt it to the reality of each project: business pressure, technical constraints, stakeholder complexity, timelines, and available evidence.

01 — Discover

Discover

I understand the product context, users, business goals, existing data, constraints, and assumptions before moving into solution mode.

02 — Define

Define

I synthesize findings into problem statements, opportunity areas, UX principles, user flows, and information architecture.

03 — Develop

Develop

I explore solutions through wireframes, prototypes, interaction models, content structure, and feedback loops with stakeholders and teams.

04 — Deliver

Deliver

I document final flows, design rationale, edge cases, validation outcomes, and handoff material so the solution can move forward with clarity.

How I use AI in my process

In practice, that means running benchmarks, refining content, and exploring visual directions with AI before I ever open a design file. It saves hours, but it doesn't make the calls. Those still come down to UX criteria, stakeholder feedback, business goals, and whatever constraints the project has.

Let's build products that make complexity easier to use.

I'm always open to conversations about UX strategy, product design, AI-assisted workflows, complex ecosystems, and how design can help teams make better decisions.

Some projects are under NDA, so the public version of my portfolio shows curated artifacts and simplified flows. I'm happy to walk through more context privately during an interview or portfolio review.
